YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDY

The Young Adult Bible Study Group is a Sunday School class made up of individuals ranging from college age to young married or unmarried people, typically ages 20-30 years old, but is open to anyone who wants to participate in friendly fellowship while studying The Bible. In this class, we use a variety of Christian literature to help us better understand the scriptures and to also learn how to be an effective witness for Christ. In Psalm 133:1, The Bible says, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" So, to anyone who wants to grow in their faith and learn how to apply God's Word to your daily life, please come to join us to worship on Sunday mornings from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church.
FIDELIS
(Meaning Faithful)

The Fidelis Class welcomes anyone in any age group either as an individual or as a couple. The current class makeup is members in their late 50's to members in their 80's. The class study is from our Sunday School books published by Lifeway and scripture from the King James Bible. In addition to Lifeway and the King James Version scripture, we often explore historical Bible-based events to help understand the context of our Sunday School lesson.

TEL/NEW GRACE

These two classes were combined together a year ago. The TEL class has been a part of this church for many decades. The New Grace class was formed in 1998. We have a very diverse and interesting class, with one common theme or belief, and that is that Jesus Christ in our Lord and Savior. We do not have an age classification although we range in age from the fifties to the nineties. Everyone is welcome. We have married couples, widows and single men and women. We would love to have you visit and/or join our Sunday School class.
NEW DISCOVER
CO-LEADERS-ROGER HAGGARD, SCOTT HAYS AND NEAL WESTER
The New Discover Class welcomes anyone interested in open, in-depth, discussions of biblical principles. Singel or married adults between mid 20's to 70+ are welcome. We normally use group Bible studies written by contemporary authors with a focus on traditional biblical instructions.

LADIES' BIBLE STUDY

Our Ladies' Bible Study welcomes ladies of all ages. If you dig into God's Word and learn to apply His principles, you can develop a deeper relationship with God. We use group Bible Studies that sometimes include videos to view. We have fun as we share our lives and build one another up.

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

Matthew 19:14" But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." The Children's Sunday School Class is from K-6th grade. Our goal is to teach these precious children how they can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We teach them the basics of our faith so that they will be ready to transition into the youth. We would like to invite your child/children to come and learn how to develop a Christian worldview with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

Joyful, Charismatic, Family are a few of the words used by our Youth to describe the group. Our Sunday School class and Wednesday night lessons come from Lifeway studies, the age group ranges from 13-18 years old. We look to help the youth stay connected with God's plan for their life and prepare them for adulthood. Knowing Christ and His word, to spread it in the community and farther. We enjoy fun and games, movies after church and youth trips! Come to visit and see what all the fun is about.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Children's Church is every Sunday during the 11:00 o'clock service. After taking part in the group service, the children are dismissed to the CLC upstairs classroom. This is a time for children to be in their own area studying God's Word on their level. Sometimes through video lessons, written lessons or even projects or crafts that help children recognize that God created them to have extraordinary lives and to help them recognize the need everyone has for a Savior. Children's Church is open to anyone of any age at the parent's or guardian's discretion. Ages from Pre-K to young adults.
